Yue Yaofan, the eldest daughter of the Yue family, returns to China from overseas to investigate her aunt's mysterious disappearance. Disguising herself as Fu Chengyan's ex-girlfriend, she deliberately sabotages his engagement to the Zheng family. To her surprise, Zheng Sisi turns out to be her half-sister, sharing the same father. Yue Yaofan then intentionally applies for a position at Fu Chengyan's company and, unexpectedly, is personally appointed by his father to become Fu Chengyan's assistant.
